Is there anybody here at all? If so, Please Release The Mod!

This forum seems both dead and inactive. Its' pages are mostly consumed by hackbots. The files are still password locked in spite of the original M&B being long past, and many of the patches to make the game work can no longer be downloaded at all. So is there anybody here?

I beg you. Please release the modules to the general public, complete with the fixes.

Or at the very least give me access to the testing chamber so I might be able to help, and clean up the bot threads.

This looks like a fascinating mod that more people should enjoy. I particularly think I'll get inspiration from it. And it'd be a shame to see all this go to waste.

I definitely agree. It's sad that it wasn't carried on, considering the setting, intrigue, etc were amazing back in the original M&B days.

I can't give you access or really anything admin related, except for the password, which is 'japan', it's needed for the file and it might give you access to the hidden part of the forum.

I'll copy the download details from that part, but trying the links, it seems to me the files are gone for good...

LOMBARD LEAGUES LATEST PATCH

Very minor new patch. This patch changes the Mayfield itself (it is now an assaultable palisade fort) and ups the renown requirements for invitation & special quests to slow down your ascent. It supersedes the patch of May 12, incorporating the fix to the game-crashing problem.

Instructions: download the May 11, 2008 Full Version first and then unzip the following May 14 patch on top of it:

Thank you very much. As it is, during the time I was waiting I was able to hunt down the files on Nexus and brute force the password. I wasn't sure if I should make that public given my petition to Ibn, but I thank you anyway.

So far it is definitely a unique experience, especially for something from the pre Warband era. Though I am still facing a fair number of glitches.

I petitioned Ibn to release the details through PM on the Taleswirld forums. But until then, here is a link to the files I downloaded.

It looks like they are from a slightly obsolete version,
Being the May 11th 2008 one. But they still work. I will try your links when I get home, Especially to check out whether the 14 version can be recovered from it.

If not, I'd be very happy if someone could upload it, and I doubt I would be the only one.

Out of curiosity, Guelph or Ghibelline?
